The beginning of 1970-71 school year and we were transforming into our "adult" faces.  We could get our fashion ideas from TV programs such as the Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour and the Partridge Family.  The Monitor reported we had 49 girls and 44 boys in our class.  In this time frame Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison of the Doors all died of a drug overdose.
